Caroline Cockrill - Pottery

Caroline Cockrill has an imaginative approach to working with porcelain. Cats, dogs and other animals romp on everything from small spoon rests to large platters. She paints landscapes and abstract designs on other pieces, sometimes pressing actual leaves and twigs or shells into the clay.

Caroline entered Massachusetts College of Art intending to major in painting, but when she discovered pottery she was hooked.  She loved the textures and free forms of hand building and the vibrant colors of the glazes. Her work is microwave and dishwasher safe, like all pottery at Clever Hand Gallery. She welcomes custom orders.
