Ruth crafts her jewelry designs from silver and gold. She borrows a technique from the ancient Middle East to weave her chains from loops of wire to create intricate jewelry pieces that lay evenly and softly when worn. She uses a modern material, PMC® (Precious Metal Clay), for some of her rings and ornaments. A kiln burns away the binder leaving a pure silver object.

All of the proceeds of her work are donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
